Brinsea Products, the Incubation Specialists, have developed Brinsea Connect, which links a Brinsea Connect egg incubator to the Brinsea Connect smartphone app to allow both remote monitoring and control of the incubator. All the functions of the egg incubator control are duplicated on the app. This means, for example, that you get immediate notification of an incubator alarm state, giving you the opportunity to correct this before the eggs come to harm. The app also allows checking and adjustment of key functions like temperature, humidity and turning.
Development of this technology has taken several years and has been subjected to stringent in-house testing so Brinsea is now ready to test the Connect technology in the field with this limited number beta program. Beta test models will be fully functioning, brand new and fully warrantied Ovation 56 EX Connect models and will be sold on the basis that the user will complete and submit a questionnaire and/or agree to a brief (approximately 10 minute) video call with a member of the Brinsea team to feedback their experience with the product and, in exchange, will receive a $50 Amazon.com voucher plus a $50 voucher redeemable from www.Brinsea.com.
Beta Testers will need to:
1 Purchase the Brinsea Ovation 56 EX Connect egg incubator from www.Brinsea.com, providing their email and phone number.
2 Agree to the Terms and Conditions of the Beta test program below
3 Join the private Facebook group for Brinsea Beta testers (optional) https://www.facebook.com/groups/brinseaconnect
4 Use their incubator. It isn’t essential to incubate eggs, but connecting the incubator to Wi-Fi and using the Brinsea Connect app will be required.
5 Provide feedback on their experience to a member of the Brinsea team via either a questionnaire or brief video call within 21 days of the date of purchase.
6 Receive and spend their vouchers and continue to use and enjoy their incubator!
Brinsea Connect incubators don’t need the Connect Wi-Fi link to operate so your eggs are safe in the event of a technical problem with the internet connection. Our primary purpose for the beta test is primarily to assess how well the Connect technology works across a wide range of phones and networks.
The app for beta test models will be initially be in English but other languages will follow.
The Brinsea Connect app is FREE and available from Google Play and the Apple Store.
Only 95 Brinsea Ovation 56 EX Connect will be built and they are now available to order.
Terms and Conditions
By purchasing a Beta versions of the Brinsea Ovation 56 EX Connect users consent to all their contact information to be passed to and retained by Brinsea Products Inc. and to be contacted by Brinsea Products Inc. for feedback on their experience of this product.
The vouchers will only be issued to the purchaser of the incubator upon receipt of the completed questionnaire and/or zoom interview. If the questionnaire is incomplete or in any way invalid then the vouchers will be withheld. This offer ends on June 1, 2024 and all questionnaires must be completed and submitted by that date to qualify for the vouchers.
The questionnaire needs to be competed and submitted within 21 days of the purchase date.
Any refunds made for returned products will be subject to deduction of the value of any redeemed Brinsea vouchers.
